Raw Granola

During Paris Fashionweek I decided to treat myself with a nice dinner at Le Pain Quotidien. On my way out I noticed their Crunola, a raw granola without gluten or any sweeteners. It looked delicious and the ingredients were all healthy and organic, so I decided to give a try. No regrets at all! The only downside is their price; 6 euros for not even 250 grams.

After I finished the bag, I made a picture of the ingredients, with the intention of recreating it myself soon. So I couple of days ago I went to the supermarket and got all the stuff I needed. I added a couple of ingredients and left some out, and you can definitely do this with my recipe as well. The only thing I wouldn’t leave out, is the raw buckwheat, which forms a nice crispy base.  Because this is a raw granola and we don’t use any sweeteners, the only thing you have to do is throw everything in a jar and shake it up. Simple as that!

Ingredients for one big jar:

  • 400 grams of raw buckwheat
  • 75 grams of Goji berries
  • 25 grams of sunflower seeds
  • 25 grams of pumpkin seeds
  • 10 grams of flax seeds
  • A big handful of chopped almonds
  • A handful of raw coconut chips
  • A tablespoon of cinnamon


You should end up with something like this, a lot cheaper and just as tasty!
